Para Sculling Spring

Expired

Description

The para program here helps suit the needs of rowers with a range of physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities such as neurological diseases, hearing loss, and intellectual disability. Rowers range from novice to competitive, and we have distinct programs to fit their goals. We're looking for volunteers to help bow doubles with the Para Sculling group. The Para Sculling group is designed for new or intermediate rowers. Volunteers are expected to help carry boats, carry equipment, and provide encouragement throughout practice. In the boat, the volunteer's role is to help with bowing the double, including steering, rowing, and setting the boat.

Come join us as a para volunteer, and our coaches will align you with the best opportunity to support our athletes and the para program.
